Bryan Gilbert
Thank you for taking time to visit our site and discover more about us as a community and me as pastor. I’m a lifelong Oklahoman, and was educated in Carnegie, OK, Oklahoma Baptist University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I met my wife, Luann, during my college years, married in 1988, and have served in various churches across the state of OK; however, for the last 22 years, Lu and I have called Brookwood home. We raised our four children here, and we have each consistently felt extraordinary love and acceptance from this family of believers in Christ. I believe there is something special at Brookwood that just feels like home. It is my aim to teach the complete and relevant word of God, which is applicable for all walks of our lives, and for all listeners to be transformed by the preaching of the Truth. Take the next step; come worship and magnify the Lord with us. Lu and I would love to visit with you in our café following the service, with a cup of coffee or cappuccino or a glass of tea. I have served as Youth Minister at Brookwood since 2011. My wife Sarah and I have been married since 2009 and we have 3 children, Tate, Ryker, and Evvy Grace. I love serving students and getting to be a part of their walk with The Lord. Witnessing young people become leaders in the church gives me so much hope for our future. My heart for ministry can be summed up in The Great Commission “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””

Caleb Cox
Having grown up at Brookwood, this church has always been home to me. I surrendered to ministry in 2008 and came on staff at Brookwood in 2025. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and also earned a master’s degree in Cyber Security from the The University of Tulsa. I am married to my wife Sarah, who faithfully serves alongside me as my accompanist. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the church that has invested in me for so many years and have a passion for helping people grow in their walk with Christ through worship and ministry.

Angela Wilson
Hi! My name is Angela Wilson and I have been at Brookwood as a member since 2014. I am blessed to be the Minister to Children for 1st – 6th grade. In my family I have my husband, Patric Wilson, mom, twin sister and brother-in-law, and younger brother. What brings me the most joy in children’s ministry is seeing our kids “get it!” They get to know Jesus, get to mature in their own faith, and get to love being in God’s Word.
Karen Cook
Hi, my name is Karen Cooke and I began in Children’s Ministry here at Brookwood Baptist Church in October of 1989. What an amazing opportunity it has been to work with boys and girls, parents and leaders these many years. In January of this year, I transitioned to Associate Children’s Minister so that I could assist Angela as she now leads out in this ministry. Children are certainly a gift from the Lord and leading them to understand who Jesus is and then watching them trust Him as their Savior, with their child like faith, has certainly been my greatest joy.
Mary McCoy
In 1982, my family moved to Oklahoma from Massachusetts. Shortly after arriving, we joined Brookwood Church. What a joy to be adopted into God’s family of believers at Brookwood! The love, support and encouragement I received (and continue to receive) over years of struggles, celebrations and changes are nothing short of miraculous! I have taught children and adults in a number of roles; college professor, public and private primary-grade school teacher, Sunday School teacher, Pre-School Praise, home family child care owner, and Director of several child care centers and a college child development center. But my favorite place to be is sharing God’s love with young children and their families! I am so very blessed for the opportunity to serve as Preschool Supervisor at Brookwood!

Hi! My name is Angela Wilson and I have been at Brookwood as a member since 2014. I am blessed to be the Minister to Children for 1st – 6th grade.
